Fosse is an Arduino-controlled marionette dancing unicorn automaton. My objective was to create a character capable of expressing lifelike emotion through dance.
My family helped with the electronics and software, but I came up with the concept, designed and built the unicorn automaton, operated Fosse during the performance shown in the video, and made the film.
The song “Groovin’ with Chopin” was arranged and performed by my band, The Off-key Caterwaulers.
